APACHE LAKE
This least visited of the lakes is hidden deep in the Superstition Mountains and is accessible only from the famous Apache Trail. A great place for a picnic or simply to enjoy the peace and quiet. The Roosevelt Dam marks the end of Apache Lake and the beginning of Roosevelt Lake.

ROOSEVELT LAKE
Roosevelt Lake has the distinction of being Arizona’s largest lake not fed by the Colorado River.  The Salt River and Tonto Creek feed this beautiful lake and the area has been used by indigenous people for centuries with wonderful archeological sites and history.
